To promote and raise awareness for the VF Made for Change report on the client's social media pages, I translated the dynamic angles and textures of the report design into a motion style for overviews of two report sections.
SHADOW AND BONE BOOK TRAILER
A fanmade book trailer for Leigh Bardugo's Grisha Trilogy, a dark, dramatic fantasy YA series with a Russian-inspired setting that recieved a Netflix adaptation in 2020.
The visual style I developed for this project evokes paper cutouts and the idea of puppetry, a reflection on the themes of power and control in the book, using strong color contrasts that speak to the series' themes of morality and evil. The trailer is set to Lorde's cover of Everybody Wants to Rule The World. All assets were made in Adobe Photoshop and then animated in Adobe After Effects. The video recently reached 100k views on Youtube.
